A look = one outfit/top. You can add a layer (jacket, cardigan, blazer) and accessories within the same look. For each planned look, bring 2–3 options and we’ll choose together when you arrive. Example: for a youthful, energetic commercial look, bring 2–3 tops—we’ll pick the winner when you arrive.
Our living room–by-day, photo studio–by-night is in Laguna Niguel off Crown Valley Parkway. Exact address is sent after booking.

Once you’ve booked, we can discuss what looks you’re going for and how to pick outfits that support your vision.

Within a couple of days, we will send you a link to a Google Photos album with all of your unedited high resolution images. You will then pick which photos you would like retouched. All sessions include one free retouched image of Syd n’ Dane’s choosing as well as package specific image/s of your choosing. For details about number of retouches, please see our Pricing page.
We include a free retouched image of Syd and Dane’s choosing to give you an idea of what the final edits will look like! We’ll send you this retouched high res image along with your image gallery. It’s an extra one for FREEE! :)
No! We have hairspray and a space for you to primp. Please arrive to your session with hair and makeup done and you’re welcome to add/change your makeup between looks. You are more than welcome to bring a hair and makeup stylist along with you to your shoot! The more the merrier. Sydney will keep her eyes out for anything that may need touching up or adjusting once you’re in front of the camera.
Usually yes—just ask :) We love company and want you to feel comfortable. Hair and makeup artists are definitely allowed! Looking for a shared session with your bestie? We’d be happy to accommodate this as well!
We want you to look like YOU! We will retouch blemishes and will make you POP, but won’t airbrush all of the human out of your skin. We will try to get your edits to you as quickly as possible! This is a time consuming process, especially because Dane does all of the editing by himself and wants them to be perfect. If you’re in a rush, there will be a small additional fee for a turnaround less than 48 hours.
